The National Talent Search Competition will highlight many diverse talents from those of many age groups. This competition will allow strong talent an opportunity to shine and earn a prize package that will help them pursue their dreams.

National Talent Search Rules and Regulations:

1. There is no age requirement to perform in the National Talent Search but parent authorization must be on file.

2. Contestants may be required to perform multiple times and need to be prepared to perform any time during the week of June 2 -7, 2008.

3. Time limit for each act must not exceed 4 minutes - any act over 4 minutes will be disqualified.

4. This performance is open to many different talents and includes individuals, groups, vocalists, instrumentals, comedy, juggling or dancing.

5. The decision of the judging panel is final.

6. The standards required regarding appropriateness is as follows: The lyrics should be uplifting and absolutely no foul language will be tolerated. Dress code and actions should be suitable for young children and have nothing that would come across as being obscene.

7. Organizers reserve the right of final decision on any matters pertaining to the National Talent Competition not covered in the rules.

8. American Family Fest Organizers, The Hughes Brothers Theatre, the National Talent Competition or the Heritage Center are not responsible for theft/ damage or injury of any kind, to persons or instruments, props, clothing etc. before, during or after the event.

9. Any contestant guilty of any damage, personal or real, to property or unruly conduct during festival will be disqualified from the festival.

10. American Family Fest reserves the right to photograph and/or video tape any and all performances and use those images in future promotions of the American Family Fest or the National Talent Search.

11. There will be no transfer of registration fees and no refunds for cancellations.

12. There are a limited number of spots available to compete.
